Cross roller guides

Crossed roller guides are particularly smooth-running cylindrical roller bearings. They consist of two precision-ground rail pairs with mounting holes and the roller cages in between with built-in cylindrical rollers as rolling elements.

The crossed roller guides from Dr. TRETTER are characterised by maximum precision, high rigidity and particularly smooth and quiet running. The crossed arrangement of cylindrical rollers without a circulation system results in slip-free movements with constant friction and exact positioning. Thanks to their high load-bearing capacity, the guides reliably absorb forces and moments from all directions. They are therefore ideally suited for short travel distances and precise positioning tasks. Typical areas of application are medical, measurement, optics and semiconductor technology as well as other high-tech applications.

ADVANTAGES

Why TRETTER crossed roller guides?

  • Thanks to precise cylindrical rollers without slippage between the rail and the roller, an even, smooth movement is created.
  • Due to the close roller arrangement with a high contact surface, excellent load absorption and stability, even with loads from several directions.
  • The guide enables extremely precise positioning with short travel distances.
  • The roller cage technology ensures particularly smooth running.
  • Specially designed for applications with limited stroke.
  • Space-saving and flexible to use.
